Excellent performance and free remote control

I have tried all the main players
in remote control, and the performance and reliability of LogMeIn beats them all - and if you don't need direct file transfer or remote printing then its free!

I guess it's speed and reliability come from not passing the screen data through a central server (which could be in another country. MyWebEx PC which I have used a lot works, but is subject to some very long lags - up to a minute on Saturday evenings UK time - and several periods of non-availability. I have had none of these problems with LogMeIn.

The speedy default low colour quality makes little difference to most purposes, and can be stepped up on the rare occasions it matters.

Excellent product, and for the free version you can;t citicise value for money. I do think the non-free pro version is way over-priced however. For non-professional users there should be a much cheaper flat rate (not per PC) option.
