Timesaving tool

This is a great time saving product for those teleworking or traveling a lot.

I've had experience with PCAnywhere and MyWebExPC before finding LogMeIn. PCAnywhere is a not that bad, but its still costs $$$ and i had to take considerable time to reconfiguring firewalls. when you multiply the time by how many offic PCs I had to do this to, you can imagine what a pain it became. MyWebExPC is also free, but a weaker program that caps the number of PCs you can use it with at just 5.

The best thing about logmein is its quick and painless installation. It can get past any firewalls so I didnt' have to waste time setting each computer up.

We have the pro version, which I recommend if you want LogMeIn's cooler features, like file transfer and guest invite. However, thats not to say the free version is rendered useless without pro features. You will still be able to have quality remote access with the 'lite' version.

I've found with this, as well as the other software I've tried, its best to not use dialup with it. Also do not use it for things that require fast commands, like gaming.

All in all, a free product that actually very well developed. If you have been looking for the best remote access for the best price, choose LogMeIn.
