Acronis True Image 8.0 review Editors Choice Award

Tuesday 22 March 2005, 12:48 PM

It does what it should

I have two laptops both with Norton Ghost 9. I could not backup to multiple DVDs or restore from an external hard drive. I saw your review of Acronis 8 and bought and installed it onto my troublesome laptop. I backed up across DVDs and after a crash had to do a full installation -- it works. I have bought a second copy from Amazon for £20 approx.

Verdict

True Image 8.0 is a first-class imaging program that makes it easy to copy the contents of a hard drive to removable media or to a separate disk or partition. We recommend it.
