Spybot Search & Destroy 1.3 review

Sunday 10 July 2005, 6:12 AM

Great product, except for support

Many novices would disagree with me when I say it's way better than Adaware and Webroots.

Adaware display simple harmless cookies as big time discovery and scares the average Joe, but also leaves his satisfied that Adaware found and solved the problem. In comparison, Spybot will not even display this harmless threat, and so again the average Joe thinks it is inferior.

I have been using this for a few hours now. Over the years I have fortified my system pretty well and nowadays I almost never get any spyware detects at all. Neverthless, the make others stupid modus-operandi of Adaware leaves me smiling.

In short, Spybot S&D is a must have on your computer.
