Great Product

I can't understand some of the negative comments here. I have been using McAfee products for about 15 years without much difficulty. We have 3 pc's , 2 used by teenagers carry all the so called risks, that is to say accessing Facebook, BeBo etc. I have found McAfee to be, good value, easy to install, very easy to use, efficient effective and well supported by a good tech support system. I will admit that at times you may experience a delay seeking tech support but is this not true of every support service. Installation problems, regardless of manufacturer often results from a failure to read the installation instructions / requirements. When un=installing McAfee products you need to download a "cleanup tool" free from McAfee which tidies up. Sometimes its earier to blame the programme without considering our imput or lack of it. Sometimes people jump to another programme too hastily.

Verdict

VirusScan 8.0 sports a trimmer profile, a simpler interface and fast performance, but support is more of a hassle than before.
