Installed on my older Win 98SE machine (claimed by Symantec to work) made machine unusable. On my new XP machine is causing endless email problems and have had one message: uninstall and re-install! I suppose money back is not an option ? Why do magazine reviews not highlight these problems?

7.8NAV 2004 is still a good choice for first timers, but its minor improvements mean that NAV 2003 users need not upgrade.

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
