Random conflicts as and when it feels like it

I have Panda Titanium running on two machines (OS Win2000)and Panda is quite happy until.....It declares that your system has a vulnerability and suggests a trip to Microsoft Update to solve the problem. As soon as the system is updated, Panda can no onger recognise programmes which it has been told to allow full internet access to, makes a mess of Outlook emails and is absolutely certain that IE 6.1 has been modified every 10 minutes.
Don't get your barge pole out of its wrapper.
