Verdict

We love the firewall and anti-virus combo, but if all you want is a way to keep hackers at bay, Norton Internet Security 2002 costs too much. Get it if you need anti-virus protection too; otherwise, download the free ZoneAlarm firewall... Read Full Review.

Pros

  • Simple setup
  • Effectively hides your PC from hackers
  • Automatically protects you against intruder attack.

Cons

  • Pricey compared to firewall-only competitors
  • Doesn't work with Windows 95
  • Makes you recreate custom firewall rules when you upgrade.
