I still have MS Office, but I never use it.


Start up is a bit slow the first time you run the app from start up. The Spell check as well is not as words. Other than that the price makes this chage a no brainer, and you will not find yourself out of the office loop since OpenOffice can save in ODT, DOC, and PDF formats.

OpenOffice.org 2.0, the freeware version of Sun's StarOffice 8, is a great deal for small-business users who don't mind browsing online forums for technical support. But enterprises are better served by StarOffice 8.
