Consulting: when its bad, its very, very bad
Clearly written by an insider, the firms mentioned are easy to spot, even when given a pseudonym. It's a funny expose, rather than an objective review, and most of the firms included in the book have delivered real value to customers along the line. What this hi-lights is that buying into a blue chip brand does not guarantee quality (although you'll get less blame if things go wrong if you do). If you liked Liar's Poker, and you're a management consultant you'll love this.
