GoldMine 6.0 Business Contact Manager review

Friday 18 February 2005, 4:23 AM

Packed with features, but too slow and cumbersome

GoldMine is a huge system and *could* run entire sales teams and campaigns easily.

However, it is immeasureably slow (even on a 2Ghz+ machine), and I've wasted hours doing menial work because of this. The interfaces are not designed to rapidly update details after a batch of calls, meetings, etc.

Its also full of bugs, and the overall interface is clumsy and rickety.

If the features it had worked, and worked well, I'd recommend it to everyone. However, these flaws are so great, I would only wish this on an enemy!
