GoldMine 6.0 Business Contact Manager review

Tuesday 9 December 2003, 10:24 PM

Good value for the investment

Although I am a single user, I like the having my appointments and calls in front of me, and the ability to schedule follow-up calls. Scanning the available time is a really neat feature. Having unlimited user-defined fields helps me design it the way I like it.

Why do so many (virtually all) software packages think that they are so important that they have to be started automatically every time the computer boots? What is the largest number of "speed access", "update check", "camera download" and whatever other background programs you have ever seen running? Of those, how many did you really need?
