I got MSN 8 with Verizon DSL. I am still trying to figure out what it does, other than annoy me by popping up every time I get online. The Virus protection does nothing, nothing detected with MSN virus scan, several virus detected with Trend Micro. There were no viruses before I got DSL and installed MSN 8.
