As with the rest of the Microsoft Office 12 system, PowerPoint 12 features a tabbed ribbon of functions atop each page that does away with the traditional formatting toolbars and drop-down menus. The tabs include File, Slides, Insert, Design, Animations, Slide Show and Review.
