  • Intuitive interface
  • Makes your contact list accessible from any Messenger-equipped computer.

Cons

  • Requires more memory than other IMs
  • No video capability
  • Can't hide you from individual contacts
  • Audio chat and PC-to-phone calls don't work from behind firewalls.
