  • New shortcuts make it easier to perform tasks
  • Calendar and Contact applications get added functionality
  • New search function and HTML support for email
  • Good Windows Live integration
  • Standard Edition (formerly Smartphone Edition) now includes Microsoft Office Mobile with editing capabilities

Cons

  • Some of the improvements to the email client and calendar application require Exchange Server 2007
  • No notable enhancements to the multimedia capabilities
