Once trained, it becomes your best friend.

If you are looking for a basic thumbnail handling browser, that's capable of writing the industry standard IPTC tags, Fotostation 4.5 is excellent. However if you have a larger archive, and want to make more modifications to images whilst working in the field, and don't need/want to use PhotoShop, Fotostation 5.1 it's great. It does need a degree of customising to make it work your way. The paper I supply work to has a totally different setup to mine, yet they suit our individual situations. Ideal for roving photojournalists needing to batch caption and FTP back to base. Write your own actions, and it will be your picture archive's friend.
