Not normal for designers!
Flash became a Web staple because designers embraced it, not because it was a programming powerhouse. Macromedia appears to have abandoned designers who depended on Normal mode to create the basis of their Actionscripts. Why? It doesn't cost anything to leave it in there does it?
What's next, Apple releasing an OS with terrible font support? Oh wait... Bad example.
