Once the system is configured it has everything you need in a work inviroment and it out competes Windows XP in features.
But the installer still needs a lot of work unlike the OpenSuse 10.0 version.

8.0If you manage a lot of corporate desktops, then Novell's Linux Desktop is well worth a look -- particularly if you're happy with ZENworks. Linux pricing and Novell's corporate-style support could make this a useful option for business.

Its the applications and device drivers that run on windows that cement its dominance. How many people would fork out hundreds of pounds for Vista if Linux ran all the software and kit they wanted to use.
