You have to get PDF Converter 2


The new release is a big improvement over the first. You can use it without Word, and it has a nice built-in PDF viewer so you don't even need Reader. There is a reason this was the first product to convert PDF - it's not an easy thing to get right. I think this does.

Verdict

Anyone needing to edit text distributed via PDFs should find PDF Converter invaluable. It needs to lose its umbilical link with Microsoft Word, though.
