Beginner linux all the way

The one thing I did not like was the fact that there was no software with it. Well, I thought that was OK, because all you need is some development software and you're set to get everything you want. Unfortunately, they did not put on software development software which sucked ... bad. I would recommend this OS if you have some money to throw away on the apps, otherwise it is good for a first time install. NOTE: I tested the version 3.5.

Verdict

LindowsOS 4.0 remains the easiest Linux distribution around, but its software subscription scheme can get pricey. We'd also prefer more bundled applications.
