Oki C5200n review

Friday 24 February 2006, 6:35 PM

Much Better Than Other Printers in this Class

I have worked with Laser Printer and Color Copiers for years. I can say that this is absolutely a great printer for the home or small office. The network setup is easy and quick if you are mildly adept with technology. The glossy finish comes reasonably close to rivaling much more expensive printers. The output puts to shame small printers in the $400-$600 range. Their output looks flat and muted by comparison.

I briefly spoke to Okidata tech support to find out Administrator Passcode for the Web Based admin tools after I failed to find the information in the documentation. They were very responsive and took care of my request in a enthusiastic manner. They even gave me undocumented tips to save me money by ensuring that certain setting in my driver was used and for what purposes. That is going the extra mile in my opinion. Very good customer service....

Oki's C5200n joins the ranks of low-cost, network-enabled business colour printers. Black text is high-quality but slow, while colour output is poor-quality but fast.
