Samsung CLP-500 review

Saturday 21 August 2004, 11:18 PM

Great for a small business or home!

I've had the CLP-500 for a few months now, and it's saved us paper and outside printing costs. We have been able to make our own books (we print the pages and have them spiral bound as books at Kinko's). The duplexer that we wanted has been the best feature about this printer, and it works very well. Service at Samsung has been equally great. When I purchased our printer, I later visited Samsung's Web site and found a page (that I believe they had missed removing from an earlier on line special) and it offered a free network card for the CLP-500.

I called tech support, left a message on the voice mail of the rep that handles the CLP-500. His voice mail said he was out of town and would not be back for a couple of weeks, however, he left his personal cell phone number (and that was a surprise) if you needed him for any emergency. I left a voice mail message ~ no emergency here, and figured I'd hear from him in a couple of weeks. Well, I was wrong, I heard back from him the next day, he said that the network card was shipping out the next day, and sure enough, I had it a few days later. I couldn't be more pleased with Samsung or our selection!
