Must be the worst printer HP ever made!

I bough two of these printers for my kids in college. After a couple of months they started to jam after about 6 months, they were totally unusable. Tried cleaning them, no joy. One had an extended warranty but after FOUR refurbished replacements still the same proble. This printer is obviously defetive in design/workmanship/materials but HP refuse to acknowledge this. As for their "technical support" - Puhhhhleeeeeeeaaase! I guess I'm off to buy a couple of Epsons! Anyone want a couple of doorstops?

Verdict

The DeskJet 450 is compact, and battery power allows you to use it in unlikely places. However, despite its good print quality, it's neither a budget printer, nor the fastest way of printing photos.
