If you need a printer that spits out black-and-white pages in a hurry, the Lexmark T430 could be worth considering. This reasonably priced yet expandable laser printer claims to produce an impressive 30 A4 pages per minute (ppm) of text, the first page emerging in just 8 seconds. Other lasers that approach 30ppm cost nearly double the T430's asking price of around £335 (ex. VAT); the option to add 802.11g wireless capability is attractive, too.
The T430 measures 40.6cm wide by 51.5cm deep by 25.8cm high and weighs 14.3kg, which is compact for a such rapid printer. With businesses in mind, Lexmark pairs a roomy 100-sheet multipurpose sheet feed, for envelopes or letterhead, with the main 250-page input tray. The T430 works with systems running Mac OS, Windows, Unix or Linux. The paper-handling add-ons could bust stressed budgets, but even the networkable, duplexing model costs less than other workgroup lasers. We have been less than thrilled with Lexmark's previous small-office lasers, such as the E332n, but we'll withhold judgment on the T430 until we complete our tests. If the T430 performs well in our tests, we'll give it a thumbs-up for any thrifty office that's pressed for space. Hopefully, the T430's performance will approach that of the impressive, deluxe Lexmark C762 -- only in a scaled-down package.

The MacBook Air is not quite an ultraportable, but it is exceptionally thin. Retaining the same 13.3in. display as the current MacBook line, it tapers from 1.94cm thick to just 0.4cm. Apple calls it the 'world's thinnest notebook'.

So if you upgrade to XP SP3 you can't uninstall Internet Explorer, I'm quite sure I'm having a Deja-vu feeling about MS preventing people from uninstalling Internet Explorer in other Windows products.
