A very nice device that could eventually take the Pocket PCs of the market

it apears to be a very nice product in terms of size -- who wants to lug a 2.5kg laptop around when you have this kind of option. the battery life is bad for ultra portability, but there is an option of an extended battery that increases the life to over 10hr according to Samsung. However I haven't seen it so god knows how much it will add to the size.

Verdict

Samsung's Q1, the first Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC), lacks the portability of a handheld and falls short of the functionality of a notebook. Unfortunately, it doesn't add anything that would compensate for these failings.

Nokia E63

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
