OQO Model 01 review

Wednesday 20 October 2004, 2:59 AM

replaces my laptop & PDA

The OQO is a good substitute for my PDA. It is well worth the savings of having to sync my data daily. I also can get on my VPN from other locations as I can now carry this in my trouser (large) pocket. The laptop is not necessary as most of the work done on my computer does not require that much processor power.

Verdict

A full Windows XP PC that's barely bigger than a handheld, the OQO Model 01 is incredibly cool but makes too many compromises.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
