Sony VAIO X505 review

Thursday 16 September 2004, 11:11 PM

Good for on the move except...

Pity the only recorded problem on the Sony Web site is that the PCMCIA modem driver won't install! Beats my old IBM 240X hands-down otherwise.

Verdict

Sony's elegant VAIO X505 is an eminently portable notebook with just enough features and performance. But it's too expensive for most people.

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
