It looks good, but thats about it!

Well I had a TR1MP, and was going to get a TR5MP, I am a stickler for Sony VAIO laptops! Bought this, as it looked good, which is what all Sony VAIOs do! They look ace! But that's all this one does, looks good and is light and slim, but power wise, nope, nothing there, the TR1MP seemed to be more responsive than this expensive mistake!

Trying to sell it now so I can get a TR5MP, if you have a problem carying 1.4kg and need to carry 0.9kg, then get the X505, otherwise, go for another Sony VAIO!

Verdict

Sony's elegant VAIO X505 is an eminently portable notebook with just enough features and performance. But it's too expensive for most people.

Typical price

£ 1701
