Dell Inspiron 8600c review Editors Choice Award

Saturday 14 May 2005, 2:37 PM

bulky, visually unattractive, but, customisable and excellent performance

i would have prefered a sleeker and lighter computer, black coloured body, additional usb ports and card reader, for the same price tag. the processor is good, and so is the wifi and graphics card.

The high resolution screen makes objects very small, you need to squint your eyes a bit. The sxga screen which i have is not very bright.

i am having frequent internet disconnections for which the provider blames the modem.
...otherwise i am very much satisfied.
