The screen is very nice, having four USB 2.0 ports is definitely a plus, and it's nice and quiet too. Support isn't brilliant though -- the ATI drivers are well out of date (both on the supplied disk and on the Web site), as are most others. With a bit of searching though, they're easily obtainable from alternative sources. Watch out for the supplied recovery disk -- it bundles absolutely everything back on which personally I hate (I resorted to using my own XP disk).

Battery life is impressive, if not the 5 hours Acer claims. I managed to use the machine for a good half hour, and then proceeded to watch a full DVD movie (about 90 mins) and still had over 10% battery left. Definitely worth a look, this machine.orts is definitely a plus, and it is nice and quiet too.
