Very good portable
It took 1 week to receive my first 8600... but I wasn't lucky and the next day it stopped working... I received 1 week later a new one! It wasn't all that easy to get the replacement one... but I was able to get it fairly quickly!
I honestly find the 8600 is a great machine (Centrino 1.7GHz, 512MB RAM, 60GB 7200 rpm, WUXGA, 128MB graphics card... ), but be careful about the HD -- the 40GB and the 80GB are 5400rpm and the normal 60GB is 4200 rpm... so you'd rather get the special 60GB 7200 rpm!
Great PC, great value -- would recommend if you have the money!
