Good customer service, but so many problems

I'm continually on the phone with Dell customer support. I've had tons of problems with Inspirons (2650) -- so many so that Dell finally sent me a 4150. But there is something wrong with the screen graphics -- white turns pale blue. Dell offered to replace, but that will take an additional two weeks' time in which I will not have a laptop. If I had the choice to make over again, I would not buy a Dell. The many hours I've spent on the phone, or without a laptop, or with transferring data between laptops, is not worth the $500 or so that I saved.
