Good machine, poor support

The machine arrived with a number of dead pixels and a 38, not 40GB drive. For my work I need a dual boot XP/win 2000 and set it up. Problems arose with XP in that it didn't recognise many of the components including the monitor driver. Sony refused to give any support because the machine was not set up as 'default'

Verdict

The GRX316SP is a good vehicle for processor-intensive and screen-space-hungry applications like video editing, but an expensive luxury if you're a mainstream user.

Nokia E63

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
