Dell Inspiron 8200 review

Tuesday 23 August 2005, 4:19 PM

Wonderful

It's a wonderful machine which served me well for 3 years. Flawless performance. Then some idiot spilled coke on it. Ok Dell has extended warranties I took a 3 year one but Dell has also a Total Care warranty on top- which I didn't take. I would advise one to take a total care on any Dell. Now My Dell needs a new LCD, New motherboard, and new graphics card. Not worth the expense. So it's off to the Laptop graveyard.

Verdict

The Mobile Intel Pentium 4 Processor-M performs well -- if not startlingly well -- in this desktop replacement notebook, while its GeForce4 440 Go-driven graphics performance is superb. The cost will exclude all but the most determined early adopters though.

£ 1999

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
