Bought this notebook. Although heavy (2.9Kg) it is a desktop replacement. In fact it had more power than my desktop PC thanks to the graphics chip on-board.
The screen is very crisp -- I got the 1600 x 1200 one. The CDRW/DVD drive works quckly and efficiently (have burnt over 20 discs very reliably).
Looks are OK if black is your thing and build quality seems quite good.
