My Netgear WG111 wireless USB adaptor took quite a bit of configuration to get going. Netgear's software replaces the standard Windows XP wireless adapter management (that my previous Linksys adapter relied on). This took some fiddling and has problems interacting with other devices, like my Apple Airport Express. Throughput is fine, and the form factor is great.
