SMC ADSL Barricade g review

Sunday 25 July 2004, 12:02 AM

Value for money. Solid performance

Bought this for my home which had big time problems with a Sony WAP which I was using earlier (in terms of coverage). It is an old stone house, which makes wirelss painful. But this device is working perfectly.
Had some troubles though with wireless disconnection. Apparently that was a flaw of my network card and Wireless zero config for XP. Now zero config is gone, and so are the problems.
But this router maybe a bit tricky for the novice users. The documentation is not very good in that respect. But if you can configure it once, you won't find any reason to complain.
