Requires a public IP address to function
Won't work on most systems for most people as it requires a public IP address for itself. This means that the average broadband user will have to find an ISP that can provide multiple public IPs via the router, should they wish to use this device on a network that also allows Internet access. Few Australian ISP's offer multiple IPs affordably and rarely do they get allocated via DHCP. Swiftel does offer affordable multiple IPs and this device works excellently provided the IP, DNS and subnet is manually configured.
