Large three-storey house with ntl entry front corner. Knew i would need a repeater, wbr-g54 perfect -- operates through wirless extension, whole house covered. but need to swap address of second device and turn off DHCP server function to avoid conflicts. No prob with PC, XP, Linux and Macs. if you're on a budget and cable, get this one...

7.2For cable modem users at least, the WBR-G54 will allow wired and wireless PCs to connect to the Internet with some degree of protection. Although it may need updating once the 802.11g standard is ratified, it's still fast for wireless.
