Set up is quite easy when you follow the instructions - even for a novice. Been running now for over three years with no problems. Been superceded now by the DG834 or the DG834G (wireless). I'd buy a Netgear again without hesitation. Netgear's website is also very helpful if you need any info on upgrades etc.
