Want to share an Internet connection among several systems at home? A good-quality 802.11b wireless gateway gives you the necessary connectivity, bandwidth and security features, and frees you from the tyranny of wiring.

Some vendors offer gateways with built-in modems, others cater for wired connections -- should you need them -- better than others. We tested six wireless networking kits and came up with a clear winner.

We’re a small country with an internet penetration of less than 60%, for every Youtuber there’s someone who only uses the internet to check their emails, more people surf on their mobile handsets than a few years ago.
