Looks good, works well. What else do you want for this money?

I got my monitor as part of a package and Iv been very pleased with it. The colours are bright and vibrant and in its native resolution everything is crisp and nice to read.

Are there better?

Sure, but for the listed price you wont get a much better all rounder. For office work or games this is an excellent monitor for the money.

Verdict

Although the 19in. wide-screen ViewSonic VA1912w looks modest, it packs a punch, with above-average performance, full-sounding built-in speakers and a very sweet price.
