Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW review

Saturday 18 February 2006, 4:13 AM

Average picture and video quality

I picked this up for £300 in the UK and am disapointed by its performance in Photoshop and other graphics editing programs. It seems very blurry sitting next to my Viewsonic 191b which is excellent. This is the second monitor I have had from them so I guess this is the picture eveyones getting as I thought the first one might have been faulty.
The extra real estate on screen is nice if a little squashed and the PIP is an excellent feature.
Overall I would not recommend this monitor for gaming or graphics use and I have a GeForce 6800 Ultra powering it. Buy it only if you plan on using it for web and worksheets.
