Overall a very good panel
No problems in displaying text, DVD playback or games. If you lose your user manual or don't feel like going to your files to dig it up, forget about going to the Web site to look it up. No dead pixels on arrival, the mount was off and had to be adjusted (in landscape, the monitor was tilted lower on the right than left side). Not sure of the compatibility of this panel with ATI 9700 or 9800 video cards, I have noticed red pixels in areas that should be black which sometimes shimmer. Was also getting a red shimmering line across the top of the LCD image and the image would "twitch" up and down. Updating drivers has not helped. Compared to my previous Samsung 19" monitor (SyncMaster 900p), the image is much nicer and there is no worry about using controls to expand and align the image. I bought this monitor instead of Sony's GDM-F520 monitor which I had a hard time finding.
