great on features/size, weak on battery, usual series 60 aggravations

I was using my Nokia 6310i up to a week ago because it was a basic solid phone with fantastic battery... but I yearned for quad-band and 3G, and wifi for internet phones. I didn't care for smartphone or camera/video or mp3, but then the E65 came along, cutting down on some fancy features (only one camera, no stereo bluetooth headphone etc), and giving a good set of core features..

So far it's been a solid performer, a little tricky to get VOIP working but it does... however, as soon as you leave it to automatically search for wifi/voip service the battery drains quickly - I'm having to charge it daily!

As for the smartphone, well, it has the usual (I'm told) Symbian aggravations, that's to say just minor niggles.

Nokia E63

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
