i-mate SP5 review

Wednesday 31 May 2006, 2:41 AM

Confusing start

I've just hooked up my new SP5 having upgraded from the SP3i. So far I'm about to toss it out the window. There are two issues I have will it: Everytime I turn it on it tells me my virus difinitions haven't been updated in 9 days. I've only had the phone 3 hours. I perform an update and it tells me I've already done one! No kidding! The second issue is the sync software. It's intalled but won't update to the phone stating an issue with Exchange Server. I don't have Exchange installed! I can't change the phone settings either as they are shaded and the phone won't let me. Very frustrating so far!

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
