TomTom MOBILE review

Friday 23 December 2005, 11:16 PM

Great product, shame about the bad customer support

The worst customer service ever! Don't buy this product if you are expecting a friendly employee from TOM TOM. If they can't work the problem out, they cut you off the line! I paid €450+ to get crap service. I'm going to reconsider using their product from now.

I used this product in Germany. The software is great, but to use it pan-Europe, you need a bigger Memory Stick than the one included which only has 256MB. Some maps require 512MB minimum, so they've cut conners here.. and they don't make the installation easy... once you've registered with a single country, you need to add other country maps one by one, meaning that navigating between countries are not that easy... you have to switch every time you cross a border.
