Mitac Mio 8390 review

Wednesday 9 March 2005, 1:30 PM

Do not buy - it has a fatal bug

Nifty features but fails on the basic duty of a phone: receiving calls. Has a bug where the phone suddenly loses network coverage and reconnects without a reboot. Means at any given time the phone in your pocket could be out of service and you never know it. Took it in to be repaired multiple times but they could not fix it and would not replace my phone or refund my money. You've been warned!

Nokia E63

Review Although it's missing some features (chiefly HSDPA and GPS), Nokia's E63 is a well-thought-out, ergonomic and affordable smartphone.
