As a user of the original SPV I was unsure about upgrading to the E200. However, I have absolutely no regrets. The included software, OS stability improvements, additon of BT & camera make the E200 a superb device. Granted, the home screen requires a liitle tweaking to get the best from and battery life is on the poor side. Overall, too many plus points to really bring down the E200 few failings.

Put simply, what is the compelling reason to pay ~$200 extra for an Eee with Windows XP? A Windows Eee won't come with any useful applications and you'll have to buy anti-virus software to boot. The truth about low cost computing is that nobody really cares whether the machine is running Windows or Linux as long as its cheap, its easy to use and it works.
